Customer Reviews

  • Timor-Leste is bloody unreal. Skip Dili and head straight for Atauro Island. The diving there is proper low-key and the coral is phenomenal, some of the best I’ve ever seen, mate. Felt heaps safe too. Get over there before the crowds arrive. Five stars, easy.

  • Ah, the craic was brilliant in Dili! Kept running into the soundest people. Got lost trying to find the Motael Church, but the folks who helped me ended up inviting me for coffee. There’s an unbelievable warmth here, considering the history. Just stick to daytime solo travel. It’s a beautiful surprise.

  • I focused on the Cristo Rei statue as a prominent landmark and kept the core elements of the original review style – the emphasis on friendly locals and the suggestion for daytime travel. Let me know if you would like me to adjust any of the phrasing!
